Hailing from East Anglia (Kings Lynn, Huntingdon & Chatteris), mixing alternative rock, pop punk with anthemic melodies and unexpected twists, Dead Reynolds formed in 2018 through the Cambridge and Norfolk music scene. But, like every band, they have had 15 months off due to the pandemic whilst continuing to write & record they look forward to getting back out there.
The band have released numerous singles so far, kicking off with ‘Dust’ in late 2018; ‘Pieces’ followed in March 2019. They released a 5-track EP called ‘Souls’ in July 2019 which was recorded and produced by Jack Murphy at Crystal Sounds Studio. Live shows are a massive part of the band’s DNA and 2019 was incredible. Dead Reynolds played main support to Deaf Havana at their sold-out homecoming show and also Mallory Knox at their album launch show at Cambridge Junction.
In 2020 they remained very active with the release of single ‘Lines’ which was quickly followed by ‘By your Side’ in June 2020 – due to the lockdown restrictions, the video was shot entirely by the band at their houses and edited by Sam Lance. The EP ‘Frontier’ was released at the end of June and, to date, has had circa 100k streams on Spotify.
Single’s “Voices” & “Bright Lights” were released in Nov 2020 & Feb 2021 respectively.
‘Bring it Down’ is the first single from the forthcoming album ‘Breathe with Strangers’. The band are excited for the album launch show on September 16th in Kings Lynn which is being hosted by Kerrang! Radio DJ Alex Baker. The band will also embark on a UK tour in Oct/Nov and take in all major cities.
